Klarity, the leader in AI document processing for Revenue Accounting, Revenue Operations and Order Processing, today announced that veteran leader Omrajavel Thanigaivelu has joined the company as VP of Product Operations and India Head. A seasoned industry pro, Thanigaivelu has managed successful teams for established large-scale enterprises, as well as rapidly scaling startups. He has a stellar track record of building out organizations and processes from scratch, and experience leading operations functions driven by automation and technology in hypergrowth settings.
In his new role, Thanigaivelu will be responsible for building out and leading Klarity’s Product Operations team and will oversee the training and delivery of Klarity’s core document AI product to customers. His team will also be responsible for synthesizing high quality, domain-specific data needed for a host of machine learning models. This will include prompt creation and management processes for Klarity’s next-gen LLM-based platform Thanigaivelu will report directly to CTO and Co-Founder Nischal Nadhamuni.

Throughout his career, Thanigaivelu has spent fifteen years leading operations at various scales and across multiple geographies, managing teams with all manner of cultural and professional backgrounds. He spent over a decade holding multiple positions for CitiBank, most notably as Director of Regional Compliance Assurance, and as VP of Support and Operations. Most recently, he worked as Head of Operations for the India-based FinTech startup PhonePe, a mobile-based platform for digital payments, building an operations team from scratch as the company grew exponentially.
